St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Elk Lake invites you and your friends out for a St Paddy's day Dinner on Wednesday, March 17, 2010! Bring your friends to Elk Lake Resort on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for an unforgettable evening. There will be live music Friday and Saturday nights and our menu will feature a delicious dinner. Don't forget to try your favorite dessert and our new Pacific Northwest wine selections. Cost $39.00. Women's Snowmobile Weekend
March 5-7th, Come join us and ride in the great Central Oregon back-country around Mt Bachelor and Elk Lake. We have only a few cabins still available, so get yours while they are still on hand. Elk Lake Resorts own Suzie Wirges is in charge of all the festivities and rides. Please RSVP (541) 480-7378


1st Annual Bachelor Butte Dog Derby.
March 5-7 2010. Starting from Wanoga Snowpark teams of dog sledder's and skijoring competitors will race on Cascade Lakes Hwy past Elk Lake.

2nd Annual Freezing Man Event
March 19 to 21st is our annual freezing man event. There will be dancing Friday and Saturday nights with a major BBQ feast. Both Yamaha and Ski Doo will be showing Snowmobile Demos on  Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss out on the prizes and raffles for participants in the demo's.

Snowmobile Demo
More fun the weekend of March 26-28th. Come to the Dances Friday and Saturday night. Then Polaris will be featuring their demo snowmobiles on Sunday. Make sure not to miss out on the door prizes and raffle for all participants in the demo's.


Full Moon Weekend

Don't forget to mark your calendars for March 27th and 28th. The Full Moon will be high in the ski! This is your chance to have dinner and dessert under a full moon. Enjoy DDD at the lodge: Dinner, Dessert and Drinks and a ride back to civilization. Grab your best buddies and headlights. Please call to reserve your seat (541) 480-7378.

March Madness NCAA College Basketball is this month! Come watch it on our NEW big screen TV. Ride in and we've got you covered, you won't miss a thing at the lodge.

The Best Elk Lake Chili
Tony Ren, our Resort Chef took a big risk. He ventured out and entered the Bend Chili Cook Off! This event supports many nonprofit organizations and is hosted by the Bend Athletic Club. With over 20 of the top local restaurants entered.
Elk Lake tied for First Place! Don't miss out, try Tony's Elk Lake Chili!

Bend Brewing Company

Did you know that last year The Bend Brewing Company created a brand new beer for Elk Lake called Elk Lake IPA? Now Elk Lake IPA is not a new beer, it's an award winning beer and Bend Brewing Company's best selling beer and a huge success. Now Bend Brewing Company distributes Elk Lake IPA all over the place. Elk Lake Resort has it as our featured tap beer. It's worth the adventure to get to our Backcountry Lodge.
