Elk Lake Resort Winter Excursions -
no dogs allowed on snowcats. Dogs are allowed if harnessed
skijoring into the resort and into cabins that allow dogs.
Snowcat info: ONE carry-on per person only, skis and snowshoes do not count as extras, but extra gear will be an additional charge.

Elk Lake Loop Road is groomed around the lake each Friday for X-Cross Country Skiers.
Cross-country ski from Dutchman Flats at Mt. Bachelor to our Resort, or
take advantage of our new 14 seat Snow Cat to transport you or your luggage. Stay the weekend in one of our Mt. Cabins. X-Cross Country Ski Elk Lake Loop Road & dine at our lodge. We will then
bring you back to the parking lot.
Package includes: Two night cabin rental, two dinners & transportation.

Come & explore our snowbound back-county with our brand new 14 passenger Snow Cat Tour. This adventure comes standard with unbelievable views of lakes, creeks, and mountains.
Our tour starts at Mt. Bachelor and continues on Cascade Lakes Highway, around Elk Lake, stopping at Elk Lake
Lodge for lunch and returns to Mt. Bachelor. Saturday & Sunday tours cost $159.00.
Snowmobile Adventures! (view the PDF flyer for this excursion)
Elk Lake Resort offers back-country snowmobile rentals & exploration of high terrain rarely seen in all its winter glory. Snowmobile rentals are available on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. All helmets, goggles & safety equipment will be provided.
Rental Rates:
- Four Hour Rental - $139.00
- Six Hour Rental - $169.00
(All helmets, goggles & safety equipment are included for each rider.)
General Information:
- We furnish the first tank of gas for each rental.
- We require a damage deposit of $200.00 (cash or credit card) which is refunded when the machine is returned undamaged.
- All riders are required to have a valid Driver's License.
- We advise NO double riding.
- All riders are required to provide medical information.
- All riders are required to watch a safety video.
- A deposit will be required to secure ALL reservations. Due within 14 days of making the reservation.
- 75% of the deposit will be retained if a cancellation is made 14 days prior to arrival.
Discounts:
- 10% Group rate discount for 4 or more people.
Snowshoe Adventures!
Elk Lake Resort offers snowshoe rentals for our visitors. This is a wonderful way to experience the surrounding back country and high terrain. Our snowshoes are new and rentals also come with adjustable ski poles.

Our new Snowcat picks you and your gear up at Mt. Bachelor and takes you into the Resort. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and then return to your private cabin. The following morning, the
Snowcat takes you back to Mt. Bachelor for a day of skiing.
Package includes: Two night cabin rental, two dinners & transportation to and from Mt. Bachelor's West Village Lodge.
