Elk Lake Resort is excited to promote Cross Country & Nordic skiing adventures with a "Race to the Cabins" 3 Race Series. Local area businesses, groups, and friends will enjoy a chance to participate in a unique adventure in the Central Oregon backcountry that is home to Elk Lake Resort. The trail from Mt Bachelor to Elk Lake Resort will be freshly groomed early morning on race days making for excellent skiing surface for the "Race to the Cabins" |

As great as the race will be we all know it's about the finish line. Crossing the finish line in front of the lodge at Elk Lake Resort you will realize it's about the spirt of adventure and the party afterwards where you will enjoy Music ~ Deck BBQ ~ Bon Fire ~ Spirits warm or chilledin an atmosphere that only Elk Lake Resort can provide!!! 2 Race Catagories: Game on Let's Race and WOW we made it!!! Teams will be formed through local area Businesses, Groups, & Friends. Each team must consist of 3 to 5 team members, "Game on Let's Race" Teams must consist of at least on woman. Fastest team members time combined with slowest team members time will dertimine your final time and the "Race to the Cabins" race winner for each individual race. However this a series of three (3) races, so teams must compeat in two (2) of the three (3) races to be crowned Elk Lake Resotrs 2012 Race to the Cabins Champion, winner will be choosen by combining their two best times from the three (3) races. Along with crowning a champion from each division there will also be a surprise gift awarded for the team with the most interesting race atire, so come on people let's see what you dare wear. |
